Minimum Requirements to Qualify For
Auto Loan Financing
Our goal is to help all Canadians get an auto loan they will love. These are the minimum requirements in order to qualify for auto financing without requiring a co-signer.
Employment Income
Income is required in order to qualify for auto financing. Although employment income is preferred, many applicants may be receiving income from pensions, disability or other reliable sources. Proof of income may be required in order to secure financing. Generally, lending institutions require a minimum of $2,200 a month in income in order to qualify without a co-signer.
Bank Account
A bank account is generally required (although not always) in order to secure auto financing, as many lending institutions require automatic Pre-Authorized Withdraws as the means of making regular payments.
Valid Canadian Licence
Applicants must have a valid Canadian drivers license in order to qualify for Canadian auto financing.
Canadian Residence
Applicants must have a address that matches the address on their valid Canadian drivers license.
